Over Peover batted first and amassed 180 on a fast outfield. Aiden Anthony smashed 92 off 55 balls including 12 fours and 4 sixes. Jon Bodimeade supported brilliantly with 29 and Max Nightingale finished off the innings with a quick fire 32.

Heaton Mersey started off at pace but were then pinned back in the middle overs and dropped behind the asking rate. Aiden Antony with 1-23 off 3, Nilesh Suryavanshi with 1-23 from 4, Joe Mitchell with 2-37 off 4 and Max Nightingale 3-21 off 3 took the wickets as Heaton Mersey ended 10 short.

A great fielding performance was key to the success. A great end to the season.
